She is a native North Carolinian who began classical vocal and clarinet training at 8 years of age. Around this time she also developed an avid interest in photography and television production. She pursued musical and media interests throughout her school-age years. During her preparations for university studies, Miracle was offered music scholarships for vocal and instrumental performance. She eventually changed her major to Documentary Filmmaking, however, but continued private voice studies with an Operatic Coach.
Miracle has performed for international audiences in a variety of languages, including: Latin, Italian, German, French, Swahili, Tshiluba, KiCongo. Her command of musical styles ranges from Classical to Jazz, from Gospel to Folk, from Country to Latin.
She has been commissioned to perform for the North Carolina Governor's Office on numerous occasions, and has been a favored vocalist at the State Capitol over the years. As an instructor, she has also instructed students of all ages, and from varied backgrounds. She often says, "If you can speak, I can teach you to sing."
Smith incorporated Haven Studios in 2006. She is excited to share her lifelong passion for music with students in the triangle area, and plans to continue providing high-quality vocal instruction to those in the area for years to come.
"I specialize in results."
