The Singer

MIRACLE is a singer of great renown. She began to formally study music at age 8 and was classically trained for twelve years. That training greatly contributes to her unique approach to merging various styles of music which include classical, contemporary, jazz, and gospel. She also enjoys singing in a number of languages. However, there is no confusing her message. You will be inspired by the lyrics in Miracle's songs and you will be blessed by her melodious voice.

Miracle says that her current inspiration for writing comes from years of isolation and brokenness. She writes about the hard start that she had in life, and finds comfort in the fact that God was faithful in bringing her through "some extremely tough years." Her early life was filled with one detrimental incident after another. Although, she grew up in a church environment, she experienced an abundance of discouragement from various religious leaders who ridiculed her singing voice and openly expressed disapproval of her classical training. She explains, "Thursday was choir rehearsal night. I went home, literally, every single Thursday crying over a negative comment or action that was directed at me."

Recently, however, Miracle has seen the advantage that her training and openness to various styles has given her. In the past few years, she has been exposed to various international audiences. As a result, invitations have been extended from Belgium, France, Canada, London, Nigeria, and the Democratic Republic of Congo. She has performed in a number of languages including Spanish, French, Latin, Italian, Swahili, KiCongo, Tchiluba, Linghala, and German. Recently, she was involved in music ministry in El Salvador where she had the opportunity to work on her Spanish skills.

Miracle states that her latest musical quest is to sing in "more fluent French." She's working on it. Stay tuned for news about her progress!
