When I first started to think about writing this article, I shied away from the whole idea. After all, it didn't seem totally related to marketing music. But then I started thinking, this is actually THE topic to write about, not only because I have personally run into many memorable circumstances, but because developing personal relationships is now more important than ever.

I'm not sure exactly what triggered it, but recently my mind started popping with creative, off-the-wall ways to promote your music. So I jotted down some notes and am sharing them with you in this article. I'll let you determine whether these are truly "outrageous" ideas. But one thing is for sure:  There certainly aren't the traditional things that most musicians think about when they do marketing. |
